Coaching Agreement
This agreement is between Coach and Client and outlines the terms of the coaching relationship. By signing this agreement, both parties agree to the following:
- Services Provided
The Coach will provide life coaching and career coaching services to the Client through weekly sessions. Each session will last 60 minutes and will be conducted online via Zoom or another video conferencing platform.
- Payment
The Client agrees to pay the Coach:
- $460 for a package of 4 sessions, or
- $1,200 for a package of 12 sessions.
Payment must be made in full via PayPal before the first session of the chosen package.
- Cancellations and Rescheduling
The Client must provide at least 12 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a session. If notice is not provided within this timeframe, the session will be forfeited, but no penalties or additional fees will be applied.
In case of an emergency, the parties will notify each other as soon as possible, and the missed session will be rescheduled accordingly.
- Planned and Unforeseen Absences
Coach’s Absence: If the Coach needs to take time off due to vacation, medical leave, or any other reason, the Coach will provide the Client with at least 7 days’ notice whenever possible. In the event of an unexpected emergency, the Coach will notify the Client as soon as possible. Any sessions missed due to the Coach’s absence will be rescheduled at a mutually agreed time.
Client’s Absence: If the Client needs to take time off due to vacation, work commitments, travel, or other personal reasons, they must provide the Coach with at least 7 days’ notice whenever possible. Any sessions missed due to the Client’s absence will be rescheduled, provided that proper notice is given. For unexpected emergencies, the Client will notify the Coach as soon as possible, and the missed session will be rescheduled accordingly.
- Termination and Refunds
Either party may terminate this agreement by providing 8 days’ notice. If the Client terminates the agreement, they will receive a pro-rated refund for any unused sessions. The refund will be processed within 7 business days.
- Confidentiality
All conversations during coaching sessions will be kept confidential, except where disclosure is required by law (e.g., court orders or threats of harm).
The Coach may anonymously share generalized information for training or consultation purposes with other coaching professionals (e.g., mentors or supervisors). The Client’s identity and any information that could lead to their identification will remain confidential.
The Coach will keep a confidential record of the Client’s name, email address, and coaching hours. This information may be submitted to the International Coach Federation (ICF) for credentialing purposes.
- Responsibilities
The Coach provides guidance and support, but the Client is responsible for creating their results, making decisions, and taking actions discussed in coaching sessions.
The Client acknowledges that coaching is not counseling, psychotherapy, or any other form of mental health care treatment. Coaching does not prevent, cure, or treat any mental disorder or medical disease.
The Client acknowledges that coaching is not a substitute for professional advice by legal, medical, financial, business, or other qualified professionals.
- Limitation of Liability
The Coach will not be liable for any decisions or actions the Client takes as a result of coaching. The Client agrees that they are solely responsible for their outcomes.
- Governing Law
This agreement will be governed by the laws of the United States, specifically the state of Massachusetts.
